The paper attempts to look at the statistics of wellness and stress as a result of the fast-paced lifestyle that is burdened with demands. As the modern medicinal practices fail to relieve a person completely of stress, we need to turn to the traditional cure that has been tried and proven. The paper argues for a holistic, multidimensional strategy to mental health and the integration of ancient wisdom from the Bhagavad Gita, the Upanishads, Yoga Sutras and the practice of Ayurveda.<\/p>\n<p>The integration of ancient wisdom and modern scientific research forms a strong foundation for holistic stress management.
