Abstract: Although substantial research has examined the adoption of electric motorcycles in both international and Vietnamese contexts, the post-adoption phase has received limited scholarly attention, particularly regarding the mechanisms that influence continued purchase and recommendation intention among existing users. To address this gap, the present study investigates the factors that shape the post-purchase behavior of electric motorcycle users in Viet Nam. The research model evaluates the effects of behavioral beliefs, control beliefs, and innovation attachment on user satisfaction and subsequent behavioral intentions. Data were collected from 316 electric motorcycle owners and analyzed using SmartPLS 4.0. The findings reveal significant interaction effects among perceived innovation, satisfaction, and continued purchase behavior, reinforced by driving experience a key indicator of actual product performance in real world conditions. Importantly, the study advances a new conceptual perspective by demonstrating a direct link between behavioral beliefs and continued purchase intention, diverging from traditional frameworks. This research provides essential insights for policymakers, strategic planners, and manufacturers to design effective customer retention strategies and cultivate long-term engagement with electric motorcycles in Viet Nam.
